Oakesdale girls take state 1B track title

Oakesdale girls, who roared through the qualification rounds in the previous two weeks, proved up in a big way at the state finals at Roos Field in Cheney. The Nighthawks stacked up a total of 107 points to claim the 1B title trophy for the meet. Their tally was the top score posted by boys and girls teams competing in 1B, 2B and 1A divisions in the big tournament.
