Tekoa Library will host heritage display

Whitman County Library’s online heritage program will have a display at the Tekoa Library during Slippery Gulch Days. The exhibit will be Saturday, June 15, from 1 to 5 p.m. A selection of local photographs will include a rotating slide show featuring historically significant images from Whitman County.

Whitman County Heritage digitally documents the early culture, industry and community life of Whitman County and locations throughout Washington’s Palouse Region.

The collection is a project of the Whitman County Library and local partners, funded by a grant from the Washington State Library.
