Oakesdale School – 5 p.m. – Mobius Mobile Planetarium – Curious about constellations? Wondering how galaxies are formed? Explore the cosmos with a 360° view!

Farmington – 5:30 p.m. – Magician & BBQ – Kickoff summer reading with good food and a cool performance!

Rosalia – 7 p.m. – Wildland Fires: Is Your Home Ready? – The Fire Dept. shares how to prepare and maintain your home in the case of fire as well as how to get your home fire ready and more!

Saturday, June 15

Colfax – Art Show – Enjoy the colorful oil paintings of Palouse farms, trucks, and more by J. Daisley.

Tekoa – 1 to 5 p.m. – Whitman Co. Heritage – Browse the display of historically significant photos of our area.

Rosalia – 6 p.m. – Teen Night – Bring your friends to enjoy food, computers, movies, or a game.

Monday, June 17

Tekoa – 7 p.m. – Town Council Presentations – Learn more about Whitman County Library services, contracts, and opportunities with library director, Kristie Kirkpatrick, at local town council meetings.

Colton – 10:30 a.m. – Blast Off with Summer Reading! – Learn how rockets work and make your very own! Colfax – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Maker Mondays: STEAM Lab – Kids ages 6+ can explore, design and create.

Garfield – 3:30 p.m. – Pokemon Club – Kids can battle, trade, or play Pokemon with their friends!

Colfax Schmuck Park – 6 to 7 p.m. – Fitness Boot Camp – Carissa will whip you into shape with fast results!

Colfax, Farmington, Palouse, St. John – A Sky Full of Stories – Ozobot eclipses, flying saucers, and more!

Malden – 11 a.m. – Garden Club – Start seedlings, learn new techniques, and share gardening tips.

Albion – 4:30 p.m. – WCL Board Meeting – Community member are invited to tour our Albion branch library.

Albion – 5:30 p.m. – Cooking Night – Swap recipes, learn tips, chat about healthy eating and more!

Oakesdale – 6 to 8 p.m. – Virtual Reality – Explore the Space Station, climb Mt. Everest, or visit Africa!

Lamont Community Building – 6 p.m. – Fireman’s Picnic – Join us for a BBQ and learn about library services.

Palouse – 6:30 p.m. – Cribbage Club – All ages! Kids can learn to count and everyone will have fun playing.

Wednesday, June 19

Albion, Endicott, Garfield, LaCrosse, Malden, St. John, Tekoa – To the Library & Beyond! – Explore rockets in LaCrosse, drive a Mars rover in Tekoa, code moon Ozobots in Endicott, and more Summer Reading FUN!

Thursday, June 20

Palouse & Rosalia – Shoot for the Moon! – Explore our solar system in “A Universe of Stories.”

Oakesdale – 6 p.m. – Traveling Lantern Theater – Children from Endicott, Lacrosse & St. John are invited to be part of this memorable performance, “My Mother the Astronaut: To the moon and beyond!”

Colfax 6:30 p.m. - Hyde Out Trivia Night – Bring your team, test your knowledge, and WIN!!!
