Colfax BR scores twice for walk off 7-6 win

Colfax Babe Ruth scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning Monday night at McDonald Park for a 7-6 walk off win over Kendrick/Juliaetta. The win left the Colfax team at 6-2 on the season.

Pitchers for Colfax were Alex Mortenson, Matt DeFord and Austin Stanley.

The last chance rally started with J.D. Peterson getting on base with an error and scored on a triple by Stanley. Stanley scored to tie the game up when the KJ pitcher was called for a balk.

Jude Hahn then got on base and later scored on a grounder shot hit by Nick Webb to the KJ second baseman who was still playing deep despite the scoring threat.

Friday, the Colfax team took a 14-9 win over the Moscow Royals with Peterson and Carson Gray doing the pitching.
