Bulldog-NE team tops Hoopfest bracket

A team made up of two members of last season's Colfax girls hoop team and two player from other NE League schools topped their bracket at Spokane's big Hoopfest event last weekend.

Asher Cai and Hannah Baerlocher, who played out the winter's campaign as freshmen on the Colfax varsity, teamed with Mya Edwards of Kettle Falls and Anni Bergquist of St. Georges for a 4-0 run in the eight team girls recreational bracket for 15-year-olds.

They played as the "Check Me Out" team.
