Whitman County Planning issued a Mitigated Determination of Nonsignificance (M-DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) for the following project: E & L Stout Corp. proposes a channel cleaning of Thorn Creek to reduce field flooding and further erosion. The project site is located approximately 0.9 miles north east of Uniontown, in the NE 1⁄4 of Section 5, Township 12 N., Range 46 E., W.M., Whitman County, Washington. The project site stretches for approximately 2,050 feet adjacent to the east shoulder of Uniontown East Rd, starting about 0.5 miles north of the Esser Rd intersection and continuing north.
