Letter from Coach Morgan marks start of new grid season

Colfax football Coach Mike Morgan Monday issued his pre-season letter to the players and parents. Official start of practice for the Bulldogs will be Aug. 21 at 3 p.m.

A mandatory parents meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 19. First action for the team will be the league Jamboree Aug. 30 at Ritzville and the season home opener will be a non-league game against Freeman Sept. 13.

Colfax traveled to Freeman last year early in the season against the A division Scotties.
