Morrison celebrates 103rd birthday

Roma Morrison, former longtime resident of the Lamont and St. John areas, celebrated her 103rd birthday Sunday with family members and friends at the Timber Creek Buffet in Spokane Valley. They later went to Mission Park for cake and ice cream. Mrs. Morrison and her late husband, Owen, lived in the Lamont area for many years and then moved to St. John. The family includes six children, 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Family members came from Washington, Idaho and Wyoming.
