James Moore, 67, a resident of the Beaverton community, died Sunday afternoon, August 11, 2019, at his home in Beaverton.
Private creamation rites were held at the Hoyt Crematory in Forest Grove. James Moore was born October 25, 1951, in Colfax, Washington. The son of the late Donald Conrad Moore and Lenora Berniece (Carlson) Moore, he was raised and received his education in the Endicott community, having been a graduate of the Endicott High School Class of 1969. He later attended the Lutheran Bible Institute and Northwest Nazarene College, having majored in computer science.
Following high school, he resided in the communities of Boise, Idaho; and Cannon Beach, Ore., until 1984, when he moved to the Beaverton community, where he had resided since.
James worked as a records manager for Port of Portland for many years. Among his special interests, he enjoyed all things science fiction and physics. James was preceeded in death by his parents, Donald and Lenora Moore. Survivors include his brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve (Carol) Moore, Spokane, Wash., and Daniel (Jill) Moore, LaCrosse, Wash .; and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that rememberances may be contributions to the Selbu Lutheran Church in his memory.
