Palouse adopts city flag

The City of Palouse has adopted a flag. Approved at the Aug. 27 city council meeting, the design was brought to the council by resident Moses Boone.

Boone and wife Amberly stated at the Aug. 27 meeting that they will donate money toward having some flags made.

Moses Boone, a Palouse resident and farmer, briefed the city June 11 on flags, flag designs and symbolism, culminating in his proposal for a Palouse flag and showing his design.

The proposal and design then went to the city council’s policy and administration committee, which later recommended it to the full council and mayor for approval.
