Kolby Slate of Colfax and Anais Mills of Garfield Palouse posted wins Tuesday in the league cross county run on the Colfax golf course. Slate clocked 17:31 for the 3.1-mile run to finish five seconds ahead of Adam Bruno of Valley Christian.
Asotin, which put five finishers in the top 10, took the team win with 30 points. Other team scores in the boys race were Colfax 47, Valley Christian 49, Garfield/Palouse 111 and Pomeroy 149.
Garfield/Palouse senior Anais Mills dominated the girls race and clocked 20:45 with Valley Christian freshman Stephanie Chadduck finishing second at 22:07.
Kennedy Cook placed fifth for the Vikings with a 22:37, and Catherine Treis again led the SJEL Eagles at sixth overall with a 22:45.
Colfax girls took the team score with 25 and Lind Ritzville had the other team tally of 36.
Anna Cocking led the Bulldogs with a eighth-place finish at 23:05, and Madison Dingman finished right behind her at 23:12.
