After a long day of deliberation, the jury in the trial of Daniel Hargraves reported they were unable to agree on a verdict, and Judge Gary Libey subsequently declared a mistrial.
The jury issued their report at 6:16 p.m. last Thursday. They resumed deliberation at 9 a.m. Thursday after getting the case at 2:32 p.m. Wednesday following closing arguments from both sides.
Thursday marked the eighth day of the trial which began Sept. 9 when 95 potential jurors reported in to start jury selection.
