Many ways to help build Haunted Palouse

The Sept. 21 weekend begins construction for the 18th annual Haunted Palouse which in its 17 years has netted $651,724 for the community, not including the amount our local food vendors make as well.

Much help is needed, and no experience is necessary. Builders, performers and clean-up crews are needed. Also very important is feeding the volunteers who will be working the next six weeks.

Donations of snacks, cookies, drinks and lunches will be welcomed and appreciated. Those providing lunches are asked to contact someone from the Haunted Palouse crew beforehand.

Palouse Family Foods has set up a Haunted Palouse account for those who opt to donate financially.

Beneficiaries this year will be Palouse Community Center, Palouse Skate Park & Tony Kettel Skate Gardens, Palouse Area Robotics Team (4H), Gar-Pal VIKotics, GPAC, Gar-Pal FFA, Palouse Museum and Palouse Chamber.
