Spirit week at Hill-Ray Plaza

The third annual Spirit Week is underway at Hill-Ray Plaza, in Colfax, this week beginning Monday with Las Vegas Day, featuring dress-up and casino games. Tuesday was hat or wacky socks day, Wednesday disco, Thursday is sports day with apparel from favorite teams and Friday will be Pirate Day. New this year is a scavenger hunt to finish the week. Hill-Ray is a retirement community of 42 residents on the hill in south Colfax. "We're independent, we wanted to look for ways to have fun things to do," said Linda Greenhalgh, Hill-Ray office manager. "Why not Spirit Week?"
