Playing at home Sept. 20, Colton pushed their football record to 1-2, 1-1 in league with a win over Yakama Nation.
Wildcats quarterback Chris Wolf passed for three touchdowns and ran for two more. Yakama Nation got its one touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Colton freshman Angus Jordan rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries. The Colton defense delivered six interceptions in the game, Trent Druffel with two, Jaxon Moehrle one and Angus Jordan two.
Colton plays next at St. John Friday in a re-match with St. John/Endicott/LaCrosse (1-2, 1-1). Colton lost to the Eagles 48-26 Sept. 6 at home.
