King's car fame in Colfax

Arthur Eugene King, proprietor of King's Book Store, in Colfax, reportedly brought the first automobile to town in 1903. Taken around 1915, the photo is of his second car, a 35 hp 1909 Stoddard Dayton Model 9C Roadster. The store was family run until 1965.
