Colton hammered Touchet 68-26 Friday on the windy Colton field with Quarterback Chris Wolf scoring all 10 of the Wildcat TDs. Wolf finished with 537 yards on a night which saw both clubs put aside most of their passing game because of the wind blasts.
Colton, now 3-3 in the league and 3-4 overall, led 38-12 at the half.
Touchet scored 12 points in the second quarter with Brian Vazquez booking a 45-yard run, and Alexis Gonzalez escaping on a 32-yarder.
Wolf's longest scoring run for Colton in the first half went for 76 yards. He also had TD runs of 65, 23, 19 and 16 yards.
Gonzalez booked both of the Indians TDs in the second half with runs of 32 and 63 yards.
Colton added 30 points in the second half with Wolf scoring twice in each of the last two quarters. His longest scamper in the second half was a 55-yard escape in the fourth quarter. He also had a 52-yarder in the fourth quarter.
Another possible wind factor showed up in the extra-point attempts. The Wildcats tried five two-point passes for extra points and missed all of them. They finally nailed two of the extra-point passes in the second half with Wolf throwing to Grant Wolf and Trent Druffel.
