Beekeeping at libraries

Backyard Beekeeping with local Pullman beekeeper, Charlene Purtee, comes to three local branches of Whitman County Library. Purtee provides information about bees including their habitat, why we need pollinators and how we can assist them in this critical time of declining bee populations.

Programs have been scheduled at the following library branches: Thursday, Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. in Rosalia; Saturday, Dec. 14, at 11 a.m. in Oakesdale, and Monday, Dec. 16 at 5:30 p.m. in Garfield.
