Thursday, Dec. 19

Malden – 9 a.m. – Home School Group – Share ideas and get to know other families; new themes each month.

Colfax, LaCrosse, Tekoa – Storytime – There is something new and exciting to explore each week.

Colfax & Colton – After school fun – Please call or visit us online for details.

Tekoa – 4:30 p.m. – Ladies’ Circle – Our weekly gathering is a wonderful time to craft, create and connect.

Colfax Hyde Out – 6:30 p.m. – Trivia Night – Bring your team, test your knowledge and win a special $100 prize. Wear your best (or ugliest) holiday sweater.

Friday, Dec. 20

Endicott, Malden, Palouse, St. John, Uniontown – Storytime – Bring the kiddos for stories and playtime.

Malden & Palouse – Early Release fun – Stop by the library after school, call, or visit us online for details.

St. John – 1 p.m. – Writers’ Working Group – All skill levels and interests are welcome to share their work.

Palouse – 1 to 4 p.m. – Holiday Baking Party – Teens are invited to learn a new recipe and eat their creations.

St. John – 2 to 5 p.m. – Blackout Poetry – Drop by during regular library hours over winter break and explore this creative art form.

Malden – 6 to 8 p.m. – Teen Night – Grades 6th to 12th can join us for friends, fun and dinner.

Saturday, Dec. 21

Endicott – Teen & Adult Painting – RSVP at 509-657-3429 to create your own piece of art, with step-by-step instructions. Teen and tween painting at 9 a.m. and adult painting at 6 p.m., $8 fee.

Monday, Dec. 23

Colton – 10:30 a.m. – Storytime – A fun, educational and social event for kiddos and their grownups.

Garfield – 1 to 2:30 p.m. – Cookie Decorating – Bring the kids for cookie decorating and fun.

Oakesdale – 6 p.m. – Holiday Ornament Exchange – Bring a wrapped ornament to exchange while you enjoy cookies and cocoa, all ages welcome.

Tuesday, Dec. 24 – Wednesday, Dec. 25

All 14 branches of Whitman County Library are closed. Access to the library’s online resources including the catalog, eaudio & ebooks, NewsBank, and Mango Languages are always available at http://www.whitco.lib.wa.us.

Thursday, Dec. 26

Garfield – 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. – Warm Up & Wind Down – Enjoy a hot drink and color your stress away.

Colfax – 1 p.m. – PG Movie – Bring the whole family for an animated adventure.

Rosalia – 7 p.m. – Kids’ Drive-in Movie – Popcorn, cardboard cars and a family film for everyone. Don’t forget blankets and pillows for comfy viewing.
