A Feb. 18 jury trial was scheduled for Roger W. Flook Jr., 58, formerly of Endicott, after he pleaded not guilty on Dec. 13 in superior court to charges of dealing depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and voyeurism. The charges have been pending for two years.
Flook entered the pleas to the charges after he was transported to court here from the state's Airway Heights Corrections Center.
Charges against Flook were filed in October of 2017 and a warrant for his arrest was issued by the court eight days later.
Flook sent the court a notice Nov. 18 that he was now incarcerated at Airway Heights. The court subsequently issued an order for the defendant to be transported from Airway Heights to the courtroom here for Friday's arraignment.
Chief Deputy Prosecutor Dan LeBeau said the prosecutor's office was aware that Flook was being kept in state custody. He said inmates sometimes take steps to notify the court of their whereabouts when they want to resolve other charges that have been filed against them.
The two charges filed against him are alleged to have happened in 2015.
