Serving Whitman County since 1877
Pullman Regional Hospital recently acquired Palouse Health Center in Palouse. Sandra Schorzman, who has been providing care at Palouse Health Clinic for the past 20 years, plans to retire at the end of the year to conclude a 42-year career in health services.
She opened the clinic in 2000 after coming from Boise.
The clinic building at Palouse will be closed next month until the transition is finalized. Palouse patients will be treated at Pullman Family Medicine which is located on Stadium Way.
Pullman Regional Hospital remains committed to providing access to medical care on the Palouse and preventing practices from closing.
With grant funds received from the Greater Columbia Accountable Community of Health, Pullman Regional Hospital was able to purchase the clinic building and equipment and will be providing care at Palouse Health Center under Pullman Regional Hospital Clinic Network.
Beginning this spring, Pullman Family Medicine providers Kristine Brenc, ARNP, and Jennifer Davis, PA-C, will provide care at the Palouse Health Center.
An opening date will be announced in advance.
Pullman Family Medicine is taking appointments at its Pullman location with extended hours. To make an appointment call 509-332-3548.
Palouse Health Center patients are encouraged to establish care with Kristine Brenc or Jennifer Davis now at Pullman Family Medicine and continue care with them when the Palouse Health Center opens again.
As a function of the transition, patients will be welcomed back to Palouse Health Center as new patients. They will continue to accept insurance and billing will be managed by the Pullman Regional Hospital Clinic Network.
