Burns attends reception in Port Orchard

Lorna Burns attended the reception for Grand Conductress Pamela Rookard in Port Orchard. She spent the three-day weekend with her daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Doug Stalter. She enjoyed three nights of card playing with grandson Taylor and friends Savanna, Luke and Rachel.

Sunday, she and Jodi drove to the Farmhouse Restaurant for lunch with her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Bob Brison, niece and husband Marcy and Jeff McConaughty and children Lindsey and Marcus.

Lorna presented Marcus with his great-great-grandpa Bell’s violin, dated from the early 1900’s.

On the way home she toured the six tree houses at Treehouse Point near Fall City.

Dad’s Night in Pinochle Club held its monthly get together at the home of Marcia Honn of Benge. They enjoyed visiting and dessert before the play began. Those attending were, from Benge, Ellen Bachman, Irma Kent and Bertie Honn; from Winona, Kathy Schlomer, Leslie Lamb and Casey Shiprek; from Endicott, Jenny Meyer, Judy Cook, Sue Bafus and Anne Lowe; from Pullman, Kathy Storment.

Endicott Gun Club held its weekly competitive shooting Jan. 19. There were 22 shooters with wind. The following scores for this week are:

Open: Dave Johnson 23, James Gilchrist 23, Chad Aeschliman 23.

Chayne Aeschliman 22, Mike Aeschliman 21 and Jim Pelissier 21.

Women: Jessica Pelissier 25, Nadine Rice 13, Dani Larsen 13 and Teri Garrett eight.

Youth: Carsten Miller 21, Cydni Miller 14, Marty Meserve two (shot at eight) and James Garrett one (shot at eight).

Handicap: Chad Aeschliman 20, Jessica Pelissier 19, Eric Johnson 19, Chayne Aeschliman 19 and Carsten Miller 19.

Doubles: Eric Johnson 19, Trevor Johnson 17, Larry Garrett 14, Dave Johnson 14, Jessica Pelissier 14.
