Cabin Fever Brewfest returns to Palouse

The eighth annual Palouse Cabin Fever Brewfest will be Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Palouse Community Center.

The event features 10 breweries and 32 beers.

New participant for 2020 is T.T.'s Old Iron Brewery and Barbecue of Spokane.

Running from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Brewfest is indoor/outdoor, with no heat turned on inside the community center. The main doors will be open to the back gravel lot surrounded by a fence with tents and scattered three-foot fire pits.

All proceeds go to operating expenses for Palouse Community Center.

A total of 696 tickets were available this year – the number determined by commemorative glasses ordered in groups of 24. A handful of tickets remained as of Tuesday.

Back in 2020 is local resident Jerry Foster, the firewood supplier for each Brewfest, a longtime supporter who brings down a trailer-full of dry, split, stored-inside wood.

The $25 entry includes a pint glass and six four-ounce taste tickets.

“And a lot of fun,” said volunteer Janet Barstow.

Food on hand will include pizza, brats, pretzels and popcorn.

Tickets may be found by calling 509-330-0353.
