Thursday, Feb. 6

Malden – 3:30 p.m. – Kid Hangout – Kids of all ages are invited to the library for friends, fun and food.

Farmington – 4 to 5:30 p.m. – Connecting Kids to Coverage – Marriman Health Clinic is educating people with children about Medicaid, applications, programs and enrollment.

Colfax – 6:30 p.m. – Galentine’s Day – Looking for a fun ladies night out? Join us during First Thursday for an evening of Valentine’s Day crafting, food, beverages and fun. A $5 fee includes all supplies.

St. John – 6:30 p.m. – Trivia Night – Come out for a night of historic, scientific and just-for-fun trivia questions.

Friday, Feb. 7

Endicott, Malden, Palouse, St. John, Uniontown – Storytime – Join us for a reading adventure.

Colfax – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Virtual Reality – Interact with a robot, fly to space and more. Ages 13+

St. John – 1 p.m. – Writer’s Working Group – All skill levels and interests are welcome.

Saturday, Feb. 8

Colfax, LaCrosse, Oakesdale – Adult Arts & Crafts – Scrapbooking at Colfax, Valentine’s painting at LaCrosse and Heartburst Art at Oakesdale. Call or visit your library online for details.

Monday, Feb. 10

Colton – Storytime – 10:30 a.m. – An educational program where kids will enjoy early learning and be social.

Garfield – 6 p.m. – Paint Night – Create your own unique work of art at this free event; RSVP at 635-1490.

Palouse – 6:45 p.m. – Turkey Leg Storytime Book Release – Bring your favorite stuff animal, blanket, parent, grandparent or person for this special storytime with guest storytellers, refreshments and more.

Tuesday, Feb. 11

Farmington & Rosalia – Storytime – There will be learning, crafts, songs, games and stories to explore.

Colfax – 11 a.m. – Tai Chi – Tai Chi is one of the most effective exercises for mind and body. Free class.

Rosalia – 3:30 p.m. – Newbery Book Club – 4th graders and older will share book reports on honored books.

Malden – 5 p.m. – Adult Valentine’s Day Craft – Create a craft for your house, office, or a special someone.

Colfax – 5:30 p.m. – Essential Oils – Learn how to create a life of wellness with Jana Eads. Free class.

Albion, Garfield, Oakesdale, St. John – Storytime – Early learning activities with music, stories and crafts.

Malden & Uniontown – Adult Craft – Bring a friend to get creative at the library.

Malden – 6 p.m. – Teen Night – Grades 6th to 12th will enjoy dinner, dessert and a fun time with friends.

Rosalia – 7 p.m. – Women’s Book Club – Join us for a great discussion of our latest book club selection.

It’s Food For Fines time at Whitman County Library. Get that library fine off your chest (up to $10) and do a good deed at the same time by donating non-perishable food and toiletry items.
