­­NOTICE OF HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Whitman County Commissioners have set the date of Monday, March 2, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. in their Chambers, Courthouse, Colfax, Washington, to consider repealing, extending or modifying the moratorium placed on the establishment, location, operation, licensing or maintenance of facilities, businesses, or any other activities involving the production, processing, or wholesale or retail sale of recreational marijuana or marijuana- infused products.

Any person may appear and be heard for or against this issue.

Arrangements will be made to accommodate questions and provide responses to non-English speaking residents. Upon receiving 72 hours' advance notice, the County will make arrangements to reasonably accommodate the needs of special groups of citizens, including those who are physically disabled or otherwise impaired. Please call (509) 397-5240 if such assistance is needed. Accommodations for the disabled are accessible at the east entrance to the Courthouse.

NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS

BID FOR 2020 LIQUID ASPHALT Whitman County STATE OF WASHINGTON

Sealed bids will be received on the following proposal by the Board of County Commissioners of Whitman County, State of Washington, at its office in the Whitman County Courthouse in Colfax, Washington, until 11:05 a.m. Pacific Time, on March 2, 2020 at which time they will be opened and publicly read. Handicap access may be obtained by the Mill Street entrance to the Courthouse.

Each bid is to be separately sealed in an envelope addressed to the Board of County Commissioners with the name of the bidder and item bid, including time and date of opening written plainly on the outside of the envelope. (NO FAXES ACCEPTED.)

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid which in its estimation best serves the interests of Whitman County.

Detailed bid sheets and specifications may be obtained from the Public Works office, Second Floor, Public Service Building, 310 N. Main Street, Colfax, Washington, (509) 397-4622. Also available on whitmancounty.org.

This contract provides the provisions for our 2020 Liquid Asphalt as described in the bid specifications.

Palouse-Rock LakeConservation District Board Member Appointment Notice

A Board Member seat on the Palouse-Rock Lake Conservation District is available for appointment by the Washington State Conservation Commission. Conservation district board supervisors are public officials who serve without compensation and set policy and direction for the conservation district. An applicant must be a registered voter in Washington State, and may be required to own land or operate a farm. Applicants for appointed positions do not have to live within the district to apply. ORDINANCE NO. 367

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF Endicott, WASHINGTON, amending Ordinance No. 201, 82, and Endicott Municipal Code § 15.04.010, thereby adopting the 2015 Edition of: the International Building Code, International Property Maintenance Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, International Fire Code, International Mechanical Code, International Residential Code, and the Washington State Energy Code.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL FO THE TOWN OF Endicott AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Endicott Municipal Code §15.04.010 and those portions of Ordinance No. 201, 32, which are codified as part thereof, are hereby amended to read as follows:

"15.04.010 – Adoption by Reference. The Washington State Building Code, as it now exists or as it may hereafter be amended, is hereby adopted by reference, including:

1. International Building Code, 2015 Edition, published by the International Code Council.

2. International Residential Code, 2015 Edition, as published by the International Code Council

3. International Mechanical Code, 2015 Edition, as published by the International Code Council.

4. Uniform Plumbing Code, 2015 Edition, as published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials.

5. International Fire Code,

2015 Edition, as published by the International Code Council.

6. International Property Maintenance Code, 2015 Edition, as published by the International Code Council.

7. Washington State Energy Code, as it now exists or hereafter amended."

Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after it, or a summary thereof, is published in the Town's official newspaper.
