Colfax – 3 to 6 p.m. – First Thursday, Virtual Reality & Book Sale – Try out a 3D adventure and enter the “Shop Local and Win” drawing for a chance to win $500.

Colfax – 10 a.m. – Play & Learn – Join other families to get together and play in a safe environment.

St. John – 1 p.m. – Writer’s Working Group – All skill levels welcome, bring an example of your work.

Saturday, March 7

Palouse – 2 to 4 p.m. – Movie Afternoon – Family fun movies to be played.

LaCrosse – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Family Painting – Bubble wrap art for all ages, $10 fee. RSVP at 509-549-3770.

Colton – 10:30 a.m. – Storytime – Bring your young children for our weekly storytime.

LaCrosse – 12:30 to 2 p.m. – Pie and Bingo – Free event with prizes.

Rosalia – 3:30 p.m. – Newberry Club – Bring your book reports, for children fourth grade and up.

Wednesday, March 11

Albion, Garfield, LaCrosse, Malden, Rosalia, Tekoa – Afterschool Programs – Check with your branch or online for details.

St. John – 1 p.m. – Coulees, Canyons & Valleys…Oh My! – This presentation looks at why geologists and geomorphologists all know a coulee when they see it, but have different ideas on what defines it.

Uniontown – 5 p.m. – Adult Craft Night – Get away for an hour of camaraderie and craft making.

Thursday, March 12

Colfax, LaCrosse, Tekoa – Storytime – Come in for reading, singing and fun.

Tekoa – 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – Backyard Beekeeping – Learn valuable insights from a hobbyist beekeeper.
