Weight limits lifted on roads

Weight restrictions have been lifted on all country roads as the ground has dried and thawed.

Post limits were removed on the last batch of roads Feb. 26, east of Highway 195, which was a week longer than west of Highway 195.

Dirt roads in the county are still closed to all traffic. They open again March 16.

“Some of them wouldn’t support a tricycle yet,” said Mark Storey, Public Works director.
