Neill Public Library and the League of Women Voters of Pullman welcome Cathryn Cummings for a historical re-enactment celebrating the 100th anniversary of the passing of the 19th amendment, ensuring the right to vote for many women. In this performance Cummings will reenact Eleanor Roosevelt. This event will take place today, March 12 beginning at 6 p.m. at Neill Public Library.
“Women of Strength and Courage” is by Cummings. She grew up in Walla Walla and holds a Doctor of Divinity from Princeton University. She is nationally recognized for her theatrical story telling. She is a featured speaker on Ted Talks and has created a one-woman show that tells the stories of five remarkable women in history that inspired her to be who she is.
This program is also supported with funds from the Washington State Historical Society.
This event is free to the public and requires no registration, but note seating is limited.
