Gun Club wraps season

The Endicott Gun Club met on Sunday, March 15, for its weekly competitive shooting. This was the last day of the winter league.

For this year, the new officers are President Jim Pelissier, Vice President Dave Johnson, Secretary/Treasurer Jessica Pelissier, Field Captain Eric Johnson, Board Member #1 Trevor Johnson, Board Member #2 Larry Garrett and Board Member #3 Clark Miller.

There were some close scores this year for winter competition winners. There was a shoot-off for B Class winner. The C Class winner and runner up were three birds apart. The handicap scores for winner and runner up were separated by one bird and the top four were separated by 10 birds.

Winners are: A Class Winner Eric Johnson, B Class Winner Mike Aeschliman, C Class Winner Dave Gilchrist, Lady 1 Jessica Pelissier, Lady 2 Teri Garrett, Junior Joe Vietz, Sub Junior Marty Meserve, New Shooter Jerry Sloot, Handicap Jessica Pelissier, Doubles Joe Vietz and High Overall Joe Vietz.

The high overall competitors shot all three events for the entire 11 weeks. Winners are: first Joe Vietz, second Jessica Pelissier, third Eric Johnson, fourth Trevor Johnson, fifth Jim Pelissier and sixth Larry Garrett.

Shooting will resume Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. starting April 1.
