County property tax deadline remains intact

COLFAX – Whitman County Treasurer Chris Nelson updated the county commissioners during their Monday workshop regarding county property tax deadlines.

Nelson said the first half of property taxes, by law, are due April 30 and the county will be staying with that original deadline.

“The state government has not taken any action, as of yet, on pushing property tax deadlines.
