NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Whitman County Commissioners have set the date of Monday, April 20, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. in their Chambers, Courthouse, Colfax, WA, for proposed amendment #1 to the 2020 Whitman County budget. At that time, it is requested all department heads/elected officials requesting an amendment be present. The total amount of the proposed amended budget is approximately $65,000,000. Copies of the proposed amendment will be available April 16, 2020 by calling 397-5240.

Request for Qualifications / Proposal from qualified Energy Services Performance Contracting Providers
The Town of Garfield, of Garfield Washington requests qualifications and proposals from energy services providers licensed in the State of Washington. A qualified provider will be selected for the purpose of implementing water meters and other measures. The ESCO will develop and prepare a Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract pursuant to the guidelines set forth in Washington Code RCW 39.35A.030. The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons residing in the Town of Endicott.
Up to $30,000 may be available for planning and up to $900,000 for construction to the Town of Endicott on a statewide competitive basis to fund public facility, community facility, economic development, planning and affordable housing projects that principally benefit low- and moderate-income persons.
