"Book It" goes virtual at Dahmen

Artisans at the Dahmen Barn’s April Exhibit is “Book It.” It features art in the theme of books, folded books, handmade books, watercolors, encaustic paintings, scraps of antique books made into art collages, lino block prints and watercolors on book pages and even ceramic books - one that you could probably hide your hooch in. Thirteen artists in a variety of mediums from the region have art in the exhibit.

The Palouse Women Artists group planned this exhibit for months and then due to the coronavirus the Barn was forced to close March 18. The women have worked hard and the Dahmen Barn did not want their time and talents wasted so Artisans at the Dahmen Barn is sharing the exhibit virtually. The public can view all of the exhibit on the website via the Virtual Book it block http://www.artisanbarn.org. Artisans at the Dahem Barn have even added last month’s Celebrating the Spring Equinox: Sculptures by Shelly Gilmore exhibit to the website.
