Spokane Folk Festival accepting applications

SPOKANE –25th Annual Spokane Fall Folk Festival, set for Nov, 14-15, is now accepting applications for musicians, dancers and storytellers. Performer applications are available via the festival's website and must be postmarked by July 1.

The annual festival, sponsored by the Spokane Folklore Society, is dedicated to the preservation and appreciation of folk music and culture. The festival invites new and veteran performers and artists to help celebrate and showcase 25 years of appreciation, development, and the continuation of the cultural and ethnic traditions in the Inland Northwest. The festival attracts more than 6,000 people each year with 300 performers representing 100 performing groups and many cultural traditions.
