Garden Club to sponsor "Garden of the Month"

ROSALIA – Garden Club members are bringing back the contest that was held a few years ago in Rosalia. Nominations can be made for an outstanding garden in Rosalia. It must be within the city limits of Rosalia and nominations for the month of June must be made by June 28.

You may nominate an outstanding garden by calling President Penni Barringer at 509-523-3684 or by emailing Garden of the Month Chairman Laura Fulton at [email protected].

Because garden club members are the sponsors, they are not eligible to be nominated. The garden club committee will consider each nomination and make the final decision, placing the Garden of the Month sign in the winner's yard for the month of July until the new winner is selected.

Each garden is observed only by what they see from curbside. The contest will go from June until the end of August. With people spending more time at home, the club is expecting some great gardens to be considered for the summer season.
