Virtual Trivia Night at 5:30 p.m. Visit Whitman County Library’s Facebook page for a live, 5 question test of your historical, literary, scientific, and just-for-fun knowledge. Hosted by WCL’s Sarah Phelan.

Friday, June 5

Zoom Storytime at 11 a.m. Email clancy@whitco.lib.wa.us to connect with us; it will be lots of fun! Kids and families can enjoy a book or two, activities, and shaker egg dancing.

Summer Reading Handout Day from 4 to 6 p.m. Stop by the Palouse Family Market for summer reading goody bags for pre-k to 5th graders. Teens and adults can also pick up their summer reading challenges. Remember, everyone who shows up gets a yummy donut from the Market!

Online Book Club at 5:30 p.m. Register for the Zoom meeting by emailing sarahp@whitco.lib.wa.us. Open discussions on whatever you've been reading (or watching) over the quarantine. Whether you want to chat with friends about your current title or you’re looking for recommendations, please join us.

Tuesday, June 9

Online TWEEN Trivia at 7 p.m. Email endicott@whitco.lib.wa.us for the login information. Be sure to bring a pen and paper to test your knowledge against friends.

If you don’t enjoy reading books or you like to read but have never tried an audiobook here are our reasons why you should give them a try: multitasking, happy commuting, quick reading, fantastic narrators, chillaxing, and more!

WCL provides a multitude of online service, Wi-Fi surrounding each library and materials mailed directly to your home. Unfortunately, buildings will remain closed until phase three of the Governor’s statewide plan.
