Free Fishing Weekend in Washington

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife announced its annual free fishing weekend June 6 and 7. During the two days, fishing licenses are not required to fish in Washington waters. In correlation with the event, vehicle access passes and Discover Passes will not be required on WDFW or Washington State Park lands throughout the weekend, but will be required on DNR lands both days.

Regulations for other rules such as size lim- its, bag limits, catch record card requirements and area closures that will still be in effect.
