June rains above average

COLFAX – Total precipitation for June came in more than a third of an inch above historical average with 1.71 inches.

Highest events logged were on June 15 with .56 inches and June 8 with .48 inches. Both were Mondays, so the reading would have reflected rainfall over the preceding weekend.

The month also ended on a wet note with .28 inches recorded June 30.
