NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Whitman County Commissioners have set the date of Monday, August 17, 2020, at 10:15 a.m. in their Chambers, Courthouse, Colfax, WA, for proposed amendment #2 to the 2020 Whitman County budget. At that time, it is requested all department heads/elected officials requesting an amendment be present via Zoom. The total amount of the proposed amended budget is approximately $65,000,000. Copies of the proposed amendment will be available August 17, 2020 by calling 397-5240.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Whitman County Commissioners have set the date of Monday, August 31, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. in their Chambers, Courthouse, Colfax, Washington, to consider repealing, extending or modifying the moratorium placed on the establishment, location, operation, licensing or maintenance of facilities, businesses, or any other activities involving the production, processing, or wholesale or retail sale of recreational marijuana or marijuana- infused products.
Any person may appear and be heard for or against this issue.
Remote participation is available for attending the Commissioners’ meetings. Due to COVID-19 all public meetings of the Whitman County Commissioners are closed to in-person attendance. We encourage staff and the general public to participate at: https://zoom.us/j/250921172.

ORDlNANCE NO. 641
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF OAKESDALE, WASHINGTON, amending Ordinance No. 619, Sections 1 and 2, and Oakesdale Municipal Code §2.16.020(B), thereby establishing a water service rate for RV parks.
BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Oakesdale as follows:
Section 1. Oakesdale Municipal Code §2.16.020(B) and Sections 1 and 2 of Ordinance No. 619 are hereby amended to read as foltows:
“B, Commencing September 1, 2020, each customer supplied with water service by the Town shall pay a base charge of $37.30 per month for the first 4,125 gallons (or fraction thereof) supplied, plus $1.00 for each 1,000 gallons (or fraction thereof) supplied in excess of the first
4,125 gallons. This monthly base charge shall increase in accordance with the following schedule: January 1,2021 - increase to $44.80
For the purposes of this subsection, an RV park shall be considered a single water service, regardless of the number of RV hookups available in the park. Where two or more separate buildings or premises are supplied through a single water meter, each such building or premises so supplied shatf be assessed a separate base charge each month.
The water rates set forth in this section shall be subject to change from time-to-time by resolution of the Town Council.”
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five days after it is published in the official newspaper of the Town of Oakesdale as required by law.
ADOPTED this 3 d a y of August, 2020, by the Town Council of the Town of Oakesdale.
