UNIONTOWN—Two more people were added to the roster at Whitman County Jail after a traffic stop in Uniontown Aug. 21.

According to the police report, Whitman County Sheriff’s Deputy Tyler Langerveld was on patrol when he observed a vehicle with a defective middle brake light. When he stopped the vehicle he observed two passengers were not wearing their seat belts and asked for their driver’s licenses as well as that of the driver. The driver, identified as Megan Dunne, 26, returned as suspended through Idaho. The front un-belted passenger, Dillon Hooker, 28, had a felony warrant. Both were arrested at the scene and two other passengers allowed to leave.

Deputies were granted a warrant to search the vehicle. During the search, they located narcotics and drug paraphernalia throughout the vehicle.

Dunne was allowed release on her own recognizance.
