Colfax Grandmothers donate to fire fighters

COLFAX—The Thrifty Grandmothers fulfilled three grant requests at their Sept. 14 meeting, handing out a total of $4,325 to community groups.

The Colfax volunteer fire fighters received the largest portion. The grandmothers granted $3,000 for replacement of equipment and supplies.

The Colfax Food Pantry received $1,000 and the Distinguished Young Woman program $325 for franchise fee....
