Huber to practice ag law, more at Baumgarten

PULLMAN—Baumgarten Law Offices PLLC has announced that Attorney Joshua J. Huber has joined the firm.

Huber was born and raised in Colfax. After graduating from Colfax High School in 2013, Huber attended Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and a Minor in Accounting. After graduating from Whitworth, Mr. Huber attended the University of Idaho College of Law where he worked as a legal intern at the University of Idaho Legal Aid Clinic, gaining useful experience helping real-world clients with their legal problems. Huber graduated from the University of Idaho and obtained his Juris Doctor in 2020. He was admitted as a member of the Washington State Bar Association soon after.

Huber’s practice will focus on Agricultural Law issues along with related fields like Family Law, Business Formation, Wills, and Estates. Huber is excited to be able to put his education, experience, and background to use as a lawyer – serving the community he loves.

“We’re very excited to welcome Josh to the team. He is a bright young lawyer who could easily obtain employment in a skyscraper in Seattle. Instead, he is dedicating himself to serve the community he loves and, in particular, the ag community in Whitman County. That kind of local dedication is what we’re all about,” said firm principal Luke Baumgarten. “Josh has big-city credentials and a small-town heart.”

Huber is no stranger to the Whitman County business community. His family has owned and operated Huber Action Freight in Colfax since 1991. He looks forward to continuing the family tradition of hard work, civic engagement and community dedication.

Huber is a member of the American Agricultural Law Association and the Washington State Bar Association.
