Warrant issued for threats to kill

COLFAX—A warrant was issued Sept. 18 for the arrest of Alex Hinojos on charges of assault second degree and threatening to kill.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, Hinojos and the victim had a dispute regarding a puppy Hinojos was purchasing. During the altercation, Hinojos told the victim he had two days to live and aimed a rifle at him from the passenger seat of a pickup truck.

Bail has been set at $100,000....
