Library offers free youth reading program

COLFAX – Whitman County Library, Humanities Washington and Jennings Elementary School are partnering on a free program called Prime Time Family Reading.

The platform helps kids become stronger readers and is a great way for families to support and nurture their child’s learning, according to the library.

Due to COVID restrictions, Prime Time goes online this fall starting Oct. 15, today, and runs weekly through Nov. 1, from 6- 7 p.m.

The program is designed for families with children ages 6-10.

Each family will receive free books to keep, along with other incentives.
