Serving Whitman County since 1877
COLFAX – After more people tried to sign up than time slots available, three more influenza vaccine clinics have been scheduled for Whitman County library branches. The curbside adult and senior vaccines are administered by Deanna Claybaugh, Whitman County Health Department community health nurse. Appointments are set 15 minutes apart to allow for disinfecting.
The health department has plenty of adult and children’s flu vaccines on hand. A shipment of senior vaccines is expected to arrive before the clinics, restocking the department’s supply.
In addition to scheduling a time slot, residents are asked to observe social distancing and masking requirements.
Clinics are set for Friday, Oct. 23, at the Endicott Library 9 a.m. to 2 p.m .; Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Rosalia Library 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Friday, Oct. 30, at the LaCrosse Library, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For a faster experience, please fill out the intake form and screening questionnaire on the library’s website at http://www.whitco.lib.wa.us and bring along to the appointment.
