Palouse holding Trunk-or-Treat, Garfield cancels

PALOUSE –– The Palouse Chamber of Commerce presents “Trunk or Treat on Whitman Street” on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The event is for kids up to 12 years old and will be a social-distance format.

Decorated cars will be spaced out on one side of Whitman Street, where kids can stop to receive candy. The kids exit on Beech Street.

Organizers require everyone in attendance (children and adults in groups of up to six) to wear masks, covering their nose and mouth. No gathering or loitering is permitted.

Volunteers are monitoring people to ensure compliance.
