COLFAX—Several storm systems are predicted to hit this week, according to the National Weather Service Spokane, bringing more snow and rain to the region.
The first system will pass today, leaving light snowfall.
The second system follows Tuesday, with snow likely before 4 p.m. New snow accumulation of less than a half-inch is possible, according to NWS-Spokane. There is a 30% chance of rain in the evening and into the night.
Storms take a break Wednesday until night, when there is a 50% chance of rain, which continues into Thursday.
There is potential for the active weather pattern to persist into the weekend, according to the weather office. From Friday night to Sunday, chances of precipitation ranged from 20% to 50%.
