School remodeling meetings end

COLFAX — Schools Superintendent Jerry Pugh reported that Dec. 16, was the last weekly formal construction meeting for the $18.9 million remodeling and reconstruction project.

Small and “punch list” items remain, such as basketball shot clocks being mounted in the junior-senior high school gym, and replacing all 80 of the new lockers installed in the locker rooms because of a manufacturing defect on the latches. It will be covered by warranty.

The work began at spring break 2019....
