PULLMAN — Washington State University pharmaceutical students are assisting with COVID-19 testing on campus for arriving students.
More than a dozen are helping administer nasal tests and ensuring samples are handled and stored properly, officials said.
All returning students who plan to live or take classes on campus are required to undergo coronavirus testing, officials in December.
American Pharmacist Association’s Academy of Student Pharmacists’ Misty Lefler, president of the university chapter here, organized the arrival testing, which began Jan. 14.
Pharmacy students are also providing COVID-19 tests and administering the around town.
