Description of proposal - City of Tekoa plans to construct a new lift station (LS) for the wastewater treatment facility (WWTF). The LS will utilize Hangman Creek sewer line crossing previously installed as part of the infiltration and inflow (I&I) reduction projects. Once the LS is online, the existing Hangman Creek siphon crossing will be abandoned and eliminating another source of I&I from the system. The project will include engineering design for the LS, connection to the existing infrastructure on the plant site, site electrical upgrades, and environmental review and permitting.
Location of proposal - City of Tekoa Wastewater Treatment Facility, T 20 N, R 45 E, Section 13 of Whitman County. Teba, WA Lat 47.133852 N, Long 11 7.15001 6 K

City of Tekoa has determined that this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). We have reviewed the attached Environmental Checklist and the project does
not have a significant probable impact.
