Howard Grover Morris

Howard Grover Morris was born January 30, 1942, in Colfax, Wash., and passed away on May 3, 2021, in Colfax at the age of 79.

He was the son of Warren and Alice Howard Morris. He attended Colfax schools and graduated with the class of 1960. Howard married Patricia Berquist of Colfax in 1963. They have two children, Angela and Ryan. Howard and Pat owned and operated an irrigated cattle and hay ranch at Hooper, Wash., for 45 years and retired in 2007.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years; his daughter, Angela Morris and her husband Larry Savage of Wenatchee, Wash .; son Ryan Morris and his wife Dawn of Pullman; grandchildren, Dylon and Grace Morris and Emma Savage; step-grandchildren, Cherish and Austin Summers; and two great-grandchildren Dylon D. and Delilah Morris; his sister and brother-in-law, Nancy Morris and Alan Jedlow of Shoreline, Wash. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Warna Jones, and his niece Ronna Kilgore.
